Justice Gulzar Ahmad took oath as the Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan at a ceremony at the Supreme Court in Islamabad today.
Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed administered oath to him.
The ceremony was attended by judges and lawyers of the apex court.
Justice Gulzar Ahmad will serve as the acting Chief Justice of Pakistan until the return of Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa who has proceeded on a seven day official visit to Russia.
