Asad while talking to the media said that hard work is his first priority and he always tries to focus on to play as much cricket as he can to make his techniques more comprehensive.
“Practice makes man perfect hence I do hard work to make myself more appealing on the crease,” Asad said.
Right-handed Test batsman said that he never restricted himself to anyone format but always tried to perform well in all three formats.
“I always try to give my 100 per cent in all three formats and never restricted myself to just Test cricket,” he added.
Asad was quick to add that he always focus onto perform well without thinking of his selection in the National time.
“My duty is to perform well rather than just think about the selection,” said Asad.
Asad Shafiq represented Pakistan in 61 Test matches scoring 3768 at an average of 39.25. Last time he appeared in the Test against England which Pakistan lost by an inning and 55 runs.
Moreover, 32-years-old, Asad played 60 matches adding 1336 runs at an average of 24.74.
