Talking to the rally in Rajanpur district of Punjab, the PML-N president said that Nawaz Sharif had to sleep on the floor on the first night in jail, adding that the former prime minister was not even allowed to meet his mother.
“Nawaz Sharif distributed health cards in Punjab to facilitate the masses,” he said, adding that the kind of hospital built by his party’s government in Muzaffargarh was not even there in the US.
Paying tribute to Baloch people who have a generous population in the region, the former Punjab chief minister said, “South Punjab is a stronghold of the PML-N.”
Shehbaz further criticised Imran Khan saying that when dengue virus attacked Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief went to Nathia Gali.
“Imran Khan has turned Peshawar into ruins,” he said, questioning whether such a person can become the country’s prime minister.
Khan kept on telling lies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for five years; he did not built any hospital and college.
