Some unknown suspects on Saturday have gunned down as many as five people of a same family in Bhalwal.
The armed men stormed a house and resorted to indiscriminate firing, resulting in the murder of five people.
The victims were identified as Tufail, his wife Majeeda and their three children Kashif, Waseem and Sana while 22-year-old Asif remained safe as he was not at home.
Getting information about the mishap, police personnel arrived at the scene and shifted the corpses to the hospital in Sargodha for further procedure.
District Police Officer has said that investigation into the matter has been launched to arrest the culprit.
